Secure Email Information (ZixCorp)

To meet HIPAA regulations and comply with best practice standards, email communications sent by Crosby containing PHI (Protected Health Information) will be sent through a secure system. We have partnered with ZixCorp for this service. Our e-messaging protection makes it easy for you to both receive and read all of our encrypted communications. The privacy of business communication is important to us and we want to ensure your information stays private.

Retrieving a Secure Email

When you receive a ZixSecure Email from a Crosby employee, you may either click the embedded link in the email or simply click here to retrieve your message.

Please Note: If you are sent a file (attachment) and a password is provided to you, the password will be for the file, not your Zix account. Your Zix account password is not managed by Crosby but by you, the user.

  • For new users arriving at the ZixMessage Center homepage for the first time, select the “click here” link to the right of the page within the ZixMessage Center Registration box. Complete the registration form and click “Submit Password.” An Activation Email will be sent to the email address provided. You may follow the prompts to activate your account and access your secure email.
  • For existing users, if you are having trouble accessing your account, from the ZixMessage Center homepage, click the “Change your password” link under the Login button. Follow the prompts to create a new password and click “Submit Password.” An Activation Email will be sent to the email address provided. You may follow the prompts to activate your account and access your secure email.

Please Note: Accounts will be locked for up to 7 hours after three failed login attempts before you can attempt to re-access it using your existing password. However, you may unlock your account immediately by clicking here . Follow the prompts to create a new password and an Activation Email will be sent to you. By clicking on the link to activate your new password, your account will be unlocked immediately.
